Food was fresh and tasty. The alcohol-free wheat beer great and the Kaiserschmarrn to kneel down. In addition, friendly service and moderate prices. There is also a great mountain panorama free of charge.

Unfortunately we got stranded there on Sunday. Had booked half board for two weeks, but not through the inn. Upon arrival, the daughter of the house informed us that half-board had not been offered for years. Then she sent her mother. The mother had the insolence to say that one could have seen in advance on her homepage that this service was not offered at all. For the price booked, there would only be bread delivery in the morning or departure. She didn't care that she had also received a booking confirmation. No compromise. Unfriendliness is a top priority and customer service is nil. Fortunately, we left immediately and, with the friendly support of the tourist information, ended up at Bernhards, where everything is exactly the opposite of what we found in the Hochecke.

Nice to stop and great view. The Kässpätzle were delicious. A little tip for the future: leave the fries in the fryer for a little longer and add one or two milk-free dishes

It has a nice view and the food is good. The apartment is very spacious.

Loved the restaurant itself, beautiful decor and breathtaking views! Very clean bathrooms as well. Food, however, was just ok and quite pricey for what you got. It's best to come for a beer and a quick bite and enjoy the view!
